Modern Silver Fordite Necklace

This necklace is made from sterling silver. It has a Fordite stone.

Fordite, also known as Detroit agate or Motor City agate, is old automotive paint which has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished. It was formed from the buildup of layers of enamel paint on skids on which cars were hand spray-painted.

Pendant measures 1.5 x 2 inches. Included is a 20 inch sterling silver chain.
